This handmade Tree of Life Dream Catcher Jar with Lid is the perfect place to put all your wishes inside, where they will never be too far away.
Raku pottery is created using an ancient Japanese technique of firing which produces the diverse crackling aspects unique to each piece. Raku pottery is formed from raw clay. It is painted by hand, then fired in an outdoor kiln to 2,000 degrees. Red hot, it is plunged into a pit with mesquite shavings lighting a blaze. The flames engulfing this piece of art give it its unique flashes of color and crackle, making it one-of-a-kind. "Only the strongest survive the trial by fire."
Since Raku pottery is fired at a low temperature, it is porous and will not hold water.
